Many
believe “Success” is either making or having a lot of money. Well if getting a
thick pay check or having millions or billions (in some cases) as your bank balance
makes one successful, then the rich would never have any problems or challenges
in life. On the contradictory, the not so rich (I do not like to mention as
poor) would have a life full of misery.
The
main idea of this is to help one understand the gap between “Success and
Savings”
Most
individuals including the experienced and the not-so-experienced professionals
believes the key mantra to success is to save Money. However, one needs to understand
the meaning of saving. Many believe what the amount is saved at the end of the
month after all the expenditures is their savings. But that is not the actual
meaning of it, at least from my point of view.
Savings:
It is the amount one keeps aside at the beginning of the month and come what so
ever, that amount will not be used under any circumstances.
If
you religiously follow and manage to keep an “X” amount aside every month,
then you can calculate the amount of money
you will end up saving after the end of one year or for the “Y” period of time.
So
by doing this, one will automatically plan his month and while planning the next
four weeks well in advance, why not plan to bring balance between the personal
life and professional life. Well I will not be able to explain how doing that
as it depends on individuals and the nature and type of job one does.
One
can be happy if he or she manages a balance between personal and professional
life. Else there is no point of working. With happiness at home, you will be energetic
to go to work and with that, success will automatically come your way, even if
you do not want to take it. But this time success comes after happiness, which
is very important in life.
Please leave your valuable feedback.
Remember this is just an opinion and not an advice. It's up to an individual
whether to take it or leave it. Even if you leave it there is no harm in it.
